PURCHASING & MATERIAL CONTROL
Component Sourcing, Incoming Inspection & Traceability
Our business began in electronic component trading. Over more than 20 years, we have developed long-term relationships with component manufacturers and brought that sourcing experience into our own PCBA manufacturing operation. Purchasing, engineering and production work from the approved BOM to clarify material requirements before assembly.
Source & availability review
Review full manufacturer part numbers, approved sources and availability against your BOM. Compare lead times, minimum order quantities and packaging quantities with the build plan, so purchasing decisions reflect the project cost as well as the unit price.
Incoming material inspection
Check received materials against agreed requirements for part identity, quantity, packaging and documentation. Any additional authenticity verification or testing requires a separately agreed scope.
Component traceability
Define the supplier documents, lot or date codes and receiving records needed for your build. Record availability and traceability depth depend on the source and agreed scope.
Component coverage
Resistors, capacitors and inductors · ICs, diodes, transistors and SCRs · Connectors and wire harnesses · Transformers and heatsinks. Manufacturer-direct sourcing is available within our established supplier network; the source and availability of each part are confirmed against your BOM.
ENGINEERING CHANGE CONTROL
Alternative Component Review & Customer Approval
When availability, lead time or obsolescence affects a specified part, review the candidate against its circuit function and production requirements.
Identify the affected BOM line
Confirm the manufacturer, full part number, BOM revision and reason for review.
Compare technical differences
Check package, pinout, key electrical ratings and temperature range; assess firmware and test impact where relevant.
Approve before purchase or use
Confirm validation needs, record customer approval and update the approved purchasing basis.
BOM REVIEW OUTPUTS
BOM Sourcing Review: Clear Questions & Next Steps
Review open BOM questions, purchasing conditions and approval requirements together with the target delivery date. This makes material constraints visible before production scheduling.
| Review output | Example issue | Decision needed |
|---|---|---|
| BOM clarification list | Example issueA manufacturer part number is missing or incomplete. | Decision neededConfirm the exact part, quantity and BOM revision. |
| Sourcing conditions & risks | Example issueAvailability, MOQ or reel quantity does not match the build plan. | Decision neededConfirm lead time, order quantity, quote validity and excess material handling. |
| Alternative-part approval items | Example issueA candidate part differs in package, pinout or key ratings. | Decision neededComplete engineering review and record customer approval before substitution. |
Connecting sourcing decisions to production readiness

Before you request a quote
Are all components purchased directly from manufacturers?
We have established manufacturer relationships, but the purchasing source is confirmed for each part according to brand, quantity, availability and your approved-channel requirements. We do not promise manufacturer-direct sourcing for every BOM item.
Will you substitute components without approval?
No. Candidate alternatives require engineering review and your approval before purchase or use. Any required sample validation or additional testing is agreed before the substitution proceeds.
Can I request sourcing without PCB assembly?
This service focuses on PCBA projects. For a sourcing-only request, share the part numbers and quantities so we can confirm whether it is within scope.
How are MOQ, full reels and excess stock handled?
Confirm minimum order quantities, reel quantities, quotation validity and any excess material arrangement during quotation. These terms depend on the parts and project.
What inspection and traceability documents are available?
Specify the records and verification you need with your inquiry. Document availability and any additional inspection or testing must be reviewed and agreed for the selected sources.
