01 / FAQ
Capabilities & NPI
Confirm what is included before planning your build.
What PCB assembly services does VOSNOR provide?
We assemble customer-designed boards using SMT and through-hole processes. A project can include component procurement, programming, agreed inspection and testing, and product integration. We review your files before confirming the manufacturing scope. See our PCBA capabilities.
Does VOSNOR manufacture bare PCBs?
We do not own bare PCB fabrication facilities. For turnkey projects, we can procure bare boards through manufacturing partners against your approved fabrication files and requirements. Board procurement and assembly responsibilities are confirmed in the quotation.
Can you support prototypes and new product introduction?
Yes. We can review assembly files, BOM risks and test requirements for prototype, pilot and repeat builds. Quantities and process readiness are assessed for each project. Learn about PCBA engineering and NPI support.
Who approves design changes and component alternatives?
The customer retains responsibility for the product design. We flag manufacturing questions and proposed alternatives for review. Changes to released files, component selections or agreed requirements need customer approval before implementation.
Can you assemble the PCBA into a finished product?
Where agreed, our scope can include enclosure installation, wiring, basic product assembly, programming, testing and packing. Send the mechanical files, parts list and acceptance requirements so we can assess the work. See PCBA integration and product assembly.
02 / FAQ
Sourcing & Production Planning
Understand the decisions that affect cost, materials and scheduling.
Do you offer turnkey and consigned-material assembly?
We can review turnkey, partially consigned and customer-supplied material projects. The quotation identifies who supplies each item and how incoming materials will be checked. Read about turnkey PCBA manufacturing.
How are components sourced?
We review the BOM for part identification, availability and procurement risks. Any proposed substitution is submitted for approval. Share your approved vendor list, traceability needs and restrictions before sourcing begins.
What is your minimum order quantity?
There is no single quantity that fits every project. Feasibility and pricing depend on the board, component purchase quantities, setup and testing requirements. Send your prototype, pilot or production quantities for review.
How long will my PCBA project take?
Lead time depends on file readiness, component availability, PCB procurement, fixtures, test preparation and approval timing. We provide a project schedule after reviewing these inputs. Material or revision changes may require an updated schedule.
How do you handle obsolete parts and repeat orders?
We flag availability risks during BOM review and request approval before using alternatives. For a repeat order, confirm the released BOM, PCB revision, firmware, test requirements and any changes since the previous build.
03 / FAQ
Testing, Quality & Documentation
Agree the checks and evidence your product needs.
Which inspection and test methods can be included?
Depending on the project, the agreed scope may include visual inspection, AOI, ICT, functional testing and programming. Coverage depends on board design, test access, fixtures and acceptance criteria. See testing and inspection.
Do I need to provide a test fixture or test procedure?
Share any existing fixture, firmware, procedure and pass/fail limits. If new test preparation is needed, we review feasibility and agree the responsibilities, cost and schedule before production. Test coverage is confirmed for your specific assembly.
What quality records and traceability can you provide?
Tell us which inspection records, test results, batch identification or component records you require. We confirm the available records and traceability scope before production. Our quality page explains the approach.
Does ISO 9001 certification certify my finished product?
No. ISO 9001 relates to the manufacturing organization’s quality management system; it is not a product approval. You can review the certificate details and scope on our ISO 9001 information page.
Can you support market-specific compliance requirements?
Share the target markets, applicable requirements and required evidence during project review. Material documentation and any external testing or compliance support must be scoped separately. Assembly services alone do not establish finished-product certification.
04 / FAQ
Project Files & After-Sales Support
Prepare an enquiry and understand the workmanship warranty.
What should I send for a quotation?
Send the BOM, Gerber or fabrication package, assembly and placement files, requested quantities, and test or programming requirements. Include the revision and target schedule. Our project preparation resources include a checklist and BOM template.
Which files can I attach to the enquiry form?
The form accepts one optional document or image up to 10 MB: PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, TXT, JPG or PNG. For ZIP archives, Gerber or CAD packages, or larger files, include a secure download link in your message.
Can we arrange an NDA before sharing sensitive files?
If an NDA is required, contact us to arrange it before sending confidential design files. You can begin with a non-confidential project summary, quantities and the type of support you need.
What does the workmanship warranty cover?
The warranty covers defects attributable to VOSNOR’s manufacturing workmanship for 365 days from the date of manufacture. We include 0.1% spare units with each shipment for replacing items with workmanship defects. We do not provide an independent component warranty; transferable component manufacturer warranties are passed through. Customer design issues, misuse and unauthorized modifications are excluded. See the warranty terms.
How should I report a quality issue?
Contact us with the order reference, board or product revision, batch or serial information, and a clear description of the issue. Include relevant photos and test observations so the team can review the cause and discuss the next steps.
