Manufacturing scope
From approved files to assembled products
01 / Review the build
Confirm the BOM revision, assembly files, sourcing responsibilities, quantities and acceptance criteria before production.
02 / Assemble and verify
Coordinate SMT/THT assembly, customer-supplied firmware programming and the inspections and tests specified for your order.
03 / Integrate and prepare shipment
Discuss wiring, enclosure assembly, final checks and packaging when your project extends beyond the assembled board.
Quality planning
Agree the checks before the build
The inspection plan follows your board design and acceptance criteria. Equipment availability, test coverage, fixtures and records are confirmed for the specific order.
Define the production checkpoints
- Incoming materials: check identity, condition and sourcing requirements against the approved BOM.
- First article and assembly: review the build against approved files and define visual/AOI inspection coverage.
- Programming and functional checks: use the approved firmware, test procedure and pass/fail limits.
- Release records: agree inspection reports, test records and the required traceability level.
Confirm project-dependent requirements
- SPI, X-ray and ICT: confirm applicability, availability, sampling and fixture costs before quotation.
- Appliance functions: define temperature sensing, keys, displays, motor outputs or charging checks as applicable.
- Environmental and safety testing: agree scope and responsibility separately from routine assembly inspection.
- Product certification: clarify the target market and required evidence; assembly does not by itself certify the finished product.

Kitchen & consumer electronics PCBA FAQ
Can you manufacture from our existing design?
Yes. Send your Gerber files, BOM with manufacturer part numbers, assembly drawings and quantities. We review manufacturing requirements against your approved design; PCB redesign and firmware development are separate scopes.
Can you source components or use customer-supplied parts?
Tell us which parts you will supply and which you want us to source. Approved alternatives, lead times and sourcing responsibilities are reviewed before procurement.
What is needed for programming and functional testing?
Provide the firmware version, programming instructions, test procedure and acceptance limits. Fixture development, access requirements and costs must be agreed before the build.
Can you support pilot builds and final assembly?
Prototype, pilot and production quantities can be reviewed together. Wiring, enclosure assembly and packaging can be included where the product requirements and manufacturing scope are agreed.
How should we send project files?
Upload one supported BOM or specification document, or paste a secure download link in your message for ZIP, Gerber, CAD and multiple files. If an NDA is needed, mention it before sharing confidential design files.
Ready to Build Your Kitchen
Appliance or Consumer
Electronics PCBA?
Share your product type, quantities and available files. We will review the assembly and test requirements and identify what is needed for a project-specific quotation.
Prepare Your PCB Assembly Project for Quotation
For appliance controllers, share operating temperature, power requirements, interface details, and any EMC or product certification requirements. For connected consumer devices, include firmware, programming access, and a functional test procedure. Product certification and environmental testing scope should be agreed separately.
Send Gerber files, the BOM with manufacturer part numbers, assembly drawings, expected quantities, and your target schedule. We will review missing information and confirm the manufacturing scope before quoting.
