Our Testing & Inspection Solution
AOI, ICT & Functional Testing
Combine inspection and electrical testing to match your product risks and test access.
AOI: Automated Optical Inspection
Checks component presence, placement, visible polarity markings and solder-joint appearance.
Coverage: Hidden solder joints and electrical performance require complementary tests.
ICT: In-Circuit Testing
Detects shorts and opens and measures selected components or circuit nodes where test access allows.
Coverage: Coverage depends on test access, circuit design, fixtures and the test program.
FCT: Functional Testing
Checks powered board functions against agreed limits, including supply rails, interfaces and outputs.
Coverage: Covers only the functions and operating conditions specified in the test plan.

Planning your project
What affects cost and lead time?
Tooling and test-program development may involve one-time charges. Data readiness, sample validation and quantities affect the schedule; the quotation defines the applicable costs and timing.
Who owns and maintains the fixture?
Ownership, storage, maintenance and board or firmware revision changes are addressed in the project terms.
Can you test boards from another supplier?
Standalone testing requires a feasibility review. Include board status and available design data in your enquiry.
What about X-ray, burn-in or environmental testing?
These are not included by default. Specify the required standard and conditions for an availability and scope review.
